Baby Wipes Septic Tank - Recent Articles
Hi, My name is Johnny and I wanted to share with you how I maintain my septic tank. Maintaining my septic tank is so simple that I hardly ever think about it. Yet many people obsess over it scared buy the cost of replacing a system and buy hundreds of dollars worth of products that are really totally unnecessary. Other than having the septic tank pumped at a regular service interval there is really little that you need to do other than adapt some simple lifestyle changes. It is really a matter of if you treat your septic system right it will treat you right, but if you treat it wrong you will pay dearly. Your septic tank is a wonderful thing that breaks down the waste into solids and water. The water is then discharged to a leaching field where some of the water evaporates and some of the water flows through the earth getting scrubbed clean by the soil as it goes. In the septic tank the solids would rapidly fill the tank except there are bacteria in the tank that break down the solid waste into water and gas by digesting it. Depending on how many people are using the septic system and the size of the tank eventually the tank will fill with solids and need cleaning. If you do not clean the tank in time these solids can run into the leaching field fouling the fields with a biomat that will no longer allow the fields to accept water. If this is allowed to occur you will pay dearly for the lesson.
